My Gaming Setup – Early Days of Condo Living Edition

(not my gaming setup)

For the last 14 years, I’ve had the benefit of having a pretty sweet space to use for my gaming setup. All my stuff was set up in my parent’s basement, where I had a lot of space for shelving, a big TV and enough room should I need to entertain a number of people with video games.

Now that Steff and I are in our condo, I’m going to have to downsize, which I’m fine with. I’ll gladly reduce the size of my gaming space for the other benefits available to Steff and I in our new life. While my setup is far from complete, I thought I’d give you a sneak peek at what I’m working with for the time being.

Welcome to my new gaming setup. Everything is set up on an Ikea desk. I can’t remember the name of the desk unfortunately, but it serves its purpose very well. This is set up in our living room, with the couch beside it to the right and the main TV across from the couch. It’s a change from what I’m used to, but I really like this setup.

As for the chair, I picked up a standard office chair, though I’ve been eying those stereotypical-yet-totally-rad gaming chairs too. I’m fairly certain that Steff will not allow one of those monstrosities in our place, but I’ll keep looking anyway 😛

Once things settle down here, I’ll be able to go back to writing more about actual gaming stuff. At the very least, you should see some impressions on Street Fighter X Tekken, Mass Effect 3 and the PlayStation TV, all of which are pictured on my desk.

Thank you for supporting In Third Person! I’ll see you soon!
