With Jett out of the country, Matt and Jason replace him with a paper shredder. Will it make better E3 predictions than its human counterparts? You’ll have to listen to find out.

“Why can’t Metroid Crawl?” is the jumping off point for our Super Nintendo retrospective episode. We reminisce on some of our favorite games, how the console brought us together with our respective brothers and how the TurboGrapfx-16 forever scarred Jett’s relationship with his parents.

Though it’s too early to pass judgment on the Xbox One, the big reveal didn’t earn much in the way of good will from the Bosscast. Listen to us air our grievances about the new console and gush about the lead canine in Call of Duty: Ghosts.

One year ago today, Splitkick posted my first piece of content that I wrote for them. Did you remember that it was a review for Bloodforge? Do you even remember what Bloodforge was? Probably not, and for good reason. It’s terrible.
Maybe that game didn’t leave a lasting impact on the world, but being a part of the Splitkick team has definitely made a positive impact on me. It’s an opportunity to write more and write for a new audience. Through the editing process, they’ve helped fine-tune my work into some of the best I’ve ever written. When I stepped up a few months ago to take on editing responsibilities, I got to return the favour. Most recently, I’ve been able to bring Jason and Mat into the Splitkick family as part of The Recurring Bosscast.
Thank you to everyone past and present at Splitkick for giving me the opportunity and always being supportive of my efforts. Looking forward to keeping this going!
Jason has no shortage of mean things to say about Double Dragon II: Wanderer of the Dragons. Jett is pumped for Injustice: Gods Among Us. Mat is knee deep in BioShock Infinite. The Bosscast also pour one out for LucasArts.

Though I’m reluctant to call myself a Fire Emblem: Awakening connoisseur, I did beat the game 4 times (and would gladly do it again). If you’re jumping into the world of Ylisse for the first time, I recommend checking out my Kickstart Guide to help you formulate the dream team of medieval awesomeness.

With Bioshock Infinite just a few weeks away, we reminisce on our experiences with the franchise and our dreams for the future. Mat and Jason are generally unimpressed with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate. Also, Jett explains why he thinks The Unfinished Swan is better than Journey.

During our deep dive into Sim City, we conclude that Godzilla solves everything. We’re also the last to comment on the PlayStation 4 reveal. Beyond that, stick around for the healthy discussions around Crysis 3, Capcom Arcade Cabinet, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and the mysterious object Mat bit into in his Tim Horton’s sandwich.
