Last year at the Clash of the Customizers shoe battle, Diversitile designed these Nike Dunks with Street Fighter’s Akuma serving as the inspiration. I may have a huge bias towards these shoes, due to the fact that Akuma is my favourite Street Fighter character, but these shoes are hot.
It’s easy to love the art for how good it looks and how it captured iconic Akuma poses, symbols and levels. However, my favourite touches to this shoe are the physical elements of it. The laces and the beads are direct fashion cues from Akuma, which takes the presentation of it to another, more awesome level.
