Ultra Street Fighter IV battle: Dhalsim (jeetkuendo) vs Decapre (jettFTW)

On paper, Dhalsim should be at an inherent disadvantage against Decapre. However, I got the sense that this is his main character, and in this video I’m still learning the ropes. This was one of the first major tests for my Decapre. Can she hang against this seasoned opponent?

Ultra Street Fighter IV battle: Dan (Mars312XD) vs Rose (jettFTW)

Dan was originally designed to be a joke character in the Street Fighter series, but he’s actually quite dangerous in the right hands. I may be the #1 ranked Rose on PSN, but that wasn’t enough to carry me through this match against Mars312XD.

Ultra Street Fighter IV battle: Zangief (bubbah238) vs Decapre (jettFTW)

My Decapre can do some damage now. However, I was still getting my feet wet with the character when I ran into the #1 ranked Zangief in the world on PSN. No surprise as to how this one ends.

When played to his full potential, Yun is an absolute monster in Ultra Street Fighter IV. Here I am discovering this point first hand. Ouch.

An A for Decapre

DecapreIt was only about two months ago when I first gave Cammy’s evil clone an honest try. Back then, I had no idea how far this would go. Now I’m the proud owner of an A-ranked Decapre that’s ranked 4th overall in the world.

Ultra Street Fighter IV Decapre Combo Video

Been having a lot of fun lately with this evil Cammy clone. In this combo video, I explore a bit more towards intermediate to advanced territory, as I try and make use of her tougher links. I even manage to build on my crouching medium kick into heavy Rapid Dagger combo to create something even sexier. Check it out!

Ultra Street Fighter IV battle: Blanka (EnigmaMount) vs Rose (jettFTW)

Most Blanka players rely heavily on shenanigans to score victories. Here, EnigmaMount systematically picks my Rose apart by letting me rush in and punishing all of my mistakes. This one one of the most sobering matches I’ve played in recent memory.

Some Nights

Some nights, when I’m playing Ultra Street Fighter IV online, I feel like I’m invincible. There are sessions where I go the entire evening without losing a match. Most of the time, I’ll win about 80% of my matches. In the grand scheme of things, that’s still amazing. Most recently, I had a miracle run with Decapre, where I took the character from 2,000 BP to 10,000 BP in two weeks. For context, I’ve played as Akuma on-and-off for years in the Street Fighter IV series and never got higher than 5,000 BP.

Last night was not one of those nights. In fact, it was easily my worst night ever in Ultra Street Fighter IV.
