In live matches, I tend to play a very conservative Rose. I generally go for simple combos, as I’m confident in my ability to land them consistently. However, I use this opportunity to show off a few more fancy things in my bag of tricks. I’m considering making more combo videos with different characters as a means of not only creating more content for the site, but also as a means of better learning the game as a whole. My Rolento squaring off against a highly-ranked Rose. I think he’s a good player, but I suspect that match-up experience played a key role in its outcome.

Highly doubt that this is the real Sako, but at times he certainly dishes it out like his namesake. Here’s a few of our matches that went down a while back.
jettFTW (Rose/Rolento) vs. Sacojericho (El Fuerte) in Ultra Street Fighter IV
A series of matches against a quality El Fuerte player from my area. I recognized his name from the times I was at T12 and Toryuken, so it was great to get some matches in against him!
Ryu (|H|akai) vs. Rolento (jettFTW) in Ultra Street Fighter IV
Don’t judge a player by their Battle Points. |H|akai doesn’t have many, but this Ryu player clearly knew what they were doing. He convincingly zoned out my Rolento and took this match to the absolute limit.
jettFTW vs. NostalgicX in Ultra Street Fighter IV
This match is a great example of how important space control is. Sakura wants to rush in as aggressively as possible while Rolento wants to keep her at bay with his pokes. When one person controls the space, they dominate. However, the action swings wildly as control switches hands.
So this is the #1 ranked Rolento on PSN?
One round ranked match against an opponent going out of his way to get hit by the same move over and over? Well, congratulations I guess.

Played a number of matches against a great Guy player. We played a total of 7 matches, of which he won 5. In the grand scheme of things, it was not a good look for me, but you’ll get to watch a strong Guy player do his thing. Here’s one video where I won and another where he got the best of me.
jettFTW (Decapre) vs. HolyCarb (Ibuki) in Ultra Street Fighter IV
Not exactly top-tier play, but this is me experimenting with Decapre. My combos weren’t too bad in this one. She’s definitely not one of the best characters in the game, but she’s fun to use and I’m definitely going to try her out some more.
