The Walking Dead: Season 2 – Episode 2: A House Divided Review

Clem is no longer alone, but that doesn’t mean she’s out of trouble. A House Divided picks up right where things left off, as she and Pete are being pursued by a pack of walkers. From there, the complications that come with company become increasingly apparent.

It’s interesting to compare and contrast the relationship between season 1 and season 2’s second outing. In hindsight, season 2 largely felt like a standalone storyline with a handful of key moments that came back later. This time, the second episode feels like a natural progression forward for the story set in the first episode.

I also enjoy seeing Telltale continue to polish their efforts. A House Divided delivers a a more engaging plot without having to resort to raw shock value. The big hook this time is the return of an old friend, which is they make great use of. From the moment that Clem and this person meet, she’s constantly put into situations where she must choose between her old friends and her new ones.

Episode 2 is more quality Walking Dead content for you to enjoy while setting up a third act that is bound to be messy. Episode 3 can’t come soon enough!
