Great battery life has always been a hallmark of Nintendo hand-held systems. The Gameboy, Gameboy Advance and the DS all outpaced their competition by a wide margin. The DSI XL for instance, has a battery life It made it good to know that you won’t have to constantly keep it in the charger or swap batteries every time you wanted to take it on the go.
Then came the Nintendo 3DS.
When I saw the news that Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright was announced by Level 5, I actually stepped away from my desk at work to text my brother the surprise news. Considering the fact that he’s a fan of Phoenix Wright and a huge fan of Professor Layton, this is a match made in heaven for him. I don’t have any numbers to prove it, but I think this is a dream game for a lot of people.
Recently, Nintendo announced launch details in regards to the Nintendo 3DS. It’s out in Japan in February and in March everywhere else. This is still a lot of time between now and launch, but you may need to start saving your pennies now. It won’t be cheap.
