Pick-Up Post: Video Games Live Tickets

The first time I ever went to Video Games Live was quite the magical experience. I never thought I’d watch a live orchestra in my lifetime, let alone one playing video game music. However, it didn’t take long for the show to win me over. It was so cool to be in a venue with thousands of like-minded video game fans, enjoying the soundtrack to our lives in a way that we’ve never heard before. I loved every minute of it, and I told myself I’d be back if the show ever returned to my city.

Good news for me: Video Games Live is coming back next month. I picked up tickets without hesitation. I’m looking forward to experiencing that show over again, especially if they add new songs to the set-list.

If you like video games but have your doubts about going to a symphony, put your doubts aside. It’s the most fun symphony orchestra performance you’ll ever see and the fact that they’re playing video game music you know makes it worth it.

I just check out this show on youtube for the first time under your glowing recommendation Jett and the sheer energy oozing from the audience and musicians was so mind blowing! The music on show was, dare I say, just as good as the original if not, in most cases, better than the original! I must experience this first hand and will definitely look out for this next time it’s in my area, thanks for bringing this to my attention Jett much appreciated 🙂
