Having made her first appearance in Ed’s story mode as “Fortune Teller”, Menat is finally revealed as the latest playable character in Street Fighter V. As Rose’s apprentice, she appears to have a number of her mentor’s moves, as well as a few tricks of her own. All I can say is….
Rose will forever have a special place in my heart due to all of the success we had together in Street Fighter IV. Sadly, she didn’t make the cut in the original Street Fighter V roster and quite frankly, I wasn’t surprised. Rose isn’t a popular character, nor does her play style appear to fit well into the modern game. However, by taking her base play style, placing it on a new character, and adjusting it to fit Street Fighter V, we get the best of both worlds.
Can’t wait to play as her tomorrow!
