Located in the theatre district of Toronto, Par-Tee Putt combines the joy of mini golf with pop culture and alcohol. With holes based on Pokemon, Game of Thrones and The Price is Right among many others, this attraction has created a lot of buzz in the city. With a few hours to spare before the Lizzo concert, my wife Steff and hit the back nine for a few hols of geeky mini putt.
Toronto’s spring convention returns with the 2015 edition of Comicon. Last year’s show was quite the success for me, so I’m looking forward to heading back to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre this Saturday to partake in the festivities.
Well, that escalated quickly. Just a week ago, I wasn’t even reading comic books. Now Steff and I are heading to Toronto Comicon this weekend. She’s been in the comic book game longer than I have, so at least one of us has some street cred. Unlike our previous Fan Expo adventures, we’re only going for one day and I’m not really sure what to expect beyond a smaller and more focused Fan Expo. At this point, the big draw for me is the retail section, as I’m looking to grab a few more comics and comic-related merchandise to flesh out my stash. Are you going to Toronto Comicon this weekend?
