Combining four cards into one ultimate Pokemon, V-Union is one of the coolest and ambitious gameplay concepts that the Pokemon Trading Card Game has ever seen. However, they’ve seen very little play outside of Mewtwo V-Union. Was the concept always doomed to fail? Or could more have been done to bring the concept to life? Morpeko V-Union might be awkward to play, even as far as V-Unions go. But with the Lost Zone engine and Mirage Gate, it has the potential to score multiple one-hit KOs against anything in the game! While it’s certainly not a top-tier deck, this is a way to make an ignored V-Union work!

V-Union Pokemon are the latest innovation in the Pokemon Trading Card Game. This new mechanic involves the use of four cards that form one large image of a Pokemon. The effect of seeing all four cards is quite striking on the table. But are they just an expensive gimmick? Or are these V-Union cards going to be a must-have in every deck?
