Reports out of PAX East indicate that XCOM: Enemy Unknown is getting directly ported to iOS. Because it is being ported in full, expect this one to be a premium price when it launches in the iTunes store.
Enemy Unknown is up there with The Walking Dead as my favourite games of 2012. It is a masterful turn-based strategy experience that is welcoming to newcomers and deeply engaging for genre veterans. If Firaxis can create a quality port (that will work on my aging iPhone 4), then count me in.
