Black Friday is quickly gaining popularity as a premier day for shopping in Canada, though Boxing Day is still the king. Though I have a tendency of making it rain on this day, my shopping list was surprisingly small this year. Maybe I didn’t get the volume of year’s past, but I think I got a solid crop of goodies at more reasonable prices!
As a Canadian, Boxing Day is one of the most wonderful times of the year for video game shopping. This year was highly eventful, as a bunch of games I’ve been itching to get my hands on went on sale. Below is my list of gaming related purchases. What did you get this Boxing Day?
Canadian shoppers rejoice! Boxing Day is here, which is the Canadian equivalent of Black Friday (even though we have Black Friday up here now too). If you’re not reading this from a Best Buy or Futureshop lineup at the time of this posting, you may already be too late to score a door-crasher deal at either of those stores. However, most retailers won’t have swarms of customers lining up around them and most won’t be busy until noon today, when people have recovered from a day of Christmas partying. On top of that, it’s still prime time to shop online.
