My Gaming Christmas Wish List 2019 Edition

‘Tis the season for Turkey, winter wonderlands, and quality time with the family. Also, gifts. Heck yes!

Here are a couple of games on my Christmas wish list this year. What are you hoping to find underneath your Christmas tree this time around?

Ring Fit Adventure

(Buy Ring Fit Adventure Now From Amazon.com)

Ring Fit Adventure is more than just Wii Fit. Combining the act of exercise within an RPG actually makes for one of the coolest gamifications of exercise yet. I’ve struggled with sticking to exercise routines in the past, but maybe this could get be back on the road to good health!

Borderlands 3

Tons of guns! I loved the first two games in the series and Borderlands 3 appears to be a worthy follow-up. Maybe we can play co-op sometime?

Samurai Shodown

(Buy Samurai Shodown Now From Amazon.com)

One of my most anticipated games of the year, it slipped through my fingers when local retailers didn’t get physical copies of this game. Considering I want to purchase it with a gift card, this situation wasn’t working out for me. Though the game has been out for a number of months now, my excitement still runs high for this fighter!

Va-11 Hall-A

In the event that a kind soul were to give me a gift card, I would immediately use it towards Va-11 Hall-A on the Nintendo Switch. Have had my eyes on this graphic adventure for quite some time. The premise of communicating through the drinks you serve sounds fascinating to me. Have also heard some great things about this one!

SteamWorld Quest

(Buy SteamWorld Quest Now From Amazon.com)

Off the strength of their fantastic games such as SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Heist, and Steamworld Dig 2, I will buy pretty much anything Image & Form Games makes. I can’t say I have much interest in playing a card-based RPG, but with this studio’s name behind it, I’m fairly certain that SteamWorld Quest will win me over anyway.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

(Buy Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Now From Amazon.com)

From the people that brought you Apex Legends and the Titanfall Series, Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is a step away from their roots in shooters. Looking like a mix of Dark Souls and Uncharted, this one appears to be the lightsaber-based action game we’ve always dreamed of.
