On paper, Dhalsim should be at an inherent disadvantage against Decapre. However, I got the sense that this is his main character, and in this video I’m still learning the ropes. This was one of the first major tests for my Decapre. Can she hang against this seasoned opponent?

Ultra Street Fighter IV battle: Zangief (bubbah238) vs Decapre (jettFTW)
My Decapre can do some damage now. However, I was still getting my feet wet with the character when I ran into the #1 ranked Zangief in the world on PSN. No surprise as to how this one ends.
An A for Decapre
Ultra Street Fighter IV Decapre Combo Video
Been having a lot of fun lately with this evil Cammy clone. In this combo video, I explore a bit more towards intermediate to advanced territory, as I try and make use of her tougher links. I even manage to build on my crouching medium kick into heavy Rapid Dagger combo to create something even sexier. Check it out!

Some Nights
![]()
Some nights, when I’m playing Ultra Street Fighter IV online, I feel like I’m invincible. There are sessions where I go the entire evening without losing a match. Most of the time, I’ll win about 80% of my matches. In the grand scheme of things, that’s still amazing. Most recently, I had a miracle run with Decapre, where I took the character from 2,000 BP to 10,000 BP in two weeks. For context, I’ve played as Akuma on-and-off for years in the Street Fighter IV series and never got higher than 5,000 BP.
Last night was not one of those nights. In fact, it was easily my worst night ever in Ultra Street Fighter IV.
Death By Decapre
I have to admit that I didn’t expect to get much out of Decapre. Based on her similarities with Cammy and my struggles with using the original Killer Bee, I figured that any time with Decapre would end in disappointment. Don’t want to jinx things, but so far, Decapre is working out much better than expected.
Excellence of Execution

This is the sound that my fightstick makes as I practice Decapre’s crouching medium kick into heavy Rapid Slash combo. It’s only two moves long, and one of those moves can be triggered by simply mashing a single button, yet I’m weeks into my practice and can only land it about 50% of the time against a stationary dummy. What makes this two move combo so difficult?

Ultra Street Fighter IV: Decapre Crouching Medium Kick into Hard Punch Rapid Slash Tutorial
This fundamental Decapre combo took me forever to learn, as it requires the use of the piano rolling input technique. I break it down in a way that makes sense for me in hopes that it’ll make sense for you too! Hope this helps you master one of her bread and butter combos while developing a transferable input skill in the process!

jettFTW (Decapre) vs. HolyCarb (Ibuki) in Ultra Street Fighter IV
Not exactly top-tier play, but this is me experimenting with Decapre. My combos weren’t too bad in this one. She’s definitely not one of the best characters in the game, but she’s fun to use and I’m definitely going to try her out some more.
Decapre Revealed as the Final Ultra Street Fighter IV Character
After months of teasing and speculation, Capcom has finally revealed the final character that will make her debut in Ultra Street Fighter IV later this year. Decapre, who is one of M. Bison’s Dolls, is a clone of Cammy. Well, they’re technically all clones of the same thing, but yes, this is all part of the existing Street Fighter mythology and not just a cheap way to get another character in the game (though that’s probably also the case).
