Stern Pinball Arcade: Ghostbusters and High Roller Casino

Had a rough night, as OBS got corrupted again and I had to erase all of my streaming templates. Decided to wind down with some Stern Pinball Arcade instead!

Tetris Double Header Live Stream

Tune in for one legendary game and…another game in the same series while I answer questions about video game content creation! I also completely embarrass myself at the very beginning of the stream with one of the worst rounds of Tetris of all-time.

Overcooked: Special Edition Impressions

The act of cooking is an integral part of our everyday lives and one that many enjoy partaking in. So why don’t we have any good cooking-based video games? Sure, cooking on the surface isn’t as exciting as shooting zombies, racing go-karts, or swinging a sword, but someone has to eventually find a way to make a compelling cooking game, right?

No disrespect intended towards BurgerTime or Cooking Mama, but Overcooked might be the riveting cooking game that we never knew we wanted. A hit indie title last year on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, the game finally makes its way to the Nintendo Switch in a special edition. Is this port a worthwhile addition to your Nintendo Switch library?

Magical Drop II Review

While we continue to anxiously await for Nintendo to reveal their full plans for the Virtual Console on the Nintendo Switch, Neo Geo continues to release their extended catalogue on the eShop. One such game is Magical Drop II. This puzzle game from the 90s is akin to a mash-up of Bust-a-Move and Puyo Puyo. In a world where Puyo Puyo Tetris is available, is there merit in grabbing this retro puzzler?

Coming Soon: Puyo Puyo Tetris on the Nintendo Switch

In just a few days – April 25th to be exact, Puyo Puyo Tetris will hit store shelves for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. Having played the Japanese PlayStation 4 version for a few months now, I can tell you that it’s a good game. Personally, I thought that the Switch version would be a home run, as the portable nature of the platform made it seem like a perfect fit. Right now, I’m not so sure I’m ready to jump in.

Snipperclips Review

While new Nintendo Switch owners dove down the deep rabbit hole that was The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, they may have missed out on Snipperclips in the eShop. Created by SFB Games, it’s a cooperative puzzle game where players cut pieces out of each other in order to achieve different tasks. It may not feature a stunning visuals or hundreds of hours of gameplay like Zelda, but in its own way, it’s actually an excellent showcase for the Nintendo Switch as a platform.

Puyo Puyo Tetris Impressions

Coming soon to North America for the Nintendo Switch, Puyo Puyo Tetris has actually been available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Japan for a few years. Figuring that this one would never make it to the west, I bought an Japanese copy of it on PlayStation 4 from a vendor at Fan Expo. What can you expect when it finally makes its way here? Well, I can’t read Japanese, so I can’t assess everything in the game. However, I think I’ve played enough of it to give you the scoop on what to expect.
