Titanfall 2 Review

The original Titanfall did not get its due upon its release. While its core multiplayer gameplay was stellar, I feel like it got overlooked due to it not being available on the PlayStation 4. Also, its single player campaign is one of the saddest excuses I’ve ever seen. Okay, so maybe the first was a bit more flawed than I’d like to remember it, but I won’t forget the dozens of hours I spent with the multiplayer aspect of it.

With the franchise now available on Sony’s platform, it’s time for the franchise to put its best foot forward. Titanfall 2 does that marvelously.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on PlayStation 4 Impressions

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is a modern-day fighting game classic. For years, its been one of the most hotly contested battlefields in the genre. So much so that years after Capcom stopped supporting the game, it still appears regularly at tournaments the world over.

Kickstart Guide to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

(Originally posted on Splitkick with minor edits)

It’s easy to be intimidated by or dismissive of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. In reality, it’s one of the deepest, most exciting, and rewarding fighters out there. With its recent port to the PlayStation 4 and the release of Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite looming, now’s a great time to play this killer crossover title.

The learning curve is definitely steep, but not insurmountable. With the help of this Kickstart Guide, you’ll hopefully gain a better understanding of the game’s crazier aspects while preparing yourself to take on the world.

Akuma Revealed in Street Fighter V

The Raging Demon is back!

Akuma is primed to make his debut in Street Fighter V as the first character from season 2. So far, I really like how different he plays compared to previous iterations. He moves at a slower and stiffer pace, almost to stress how powerful he is. There are some notable changes to his play style as well, such as the inclusion of a launcher attack.

Looking forward to picking him up later this month!
