After our first two appointments, particularly the second one, Steff and I were feeling pretty low about our search. While there are always hundreds of apartment listings available in the area we were looking for, the two we thought were great didn’t live up to our expectations and we were concerned that things wouldn’t get better.
For our next two appointments, we decided to check out some condos. Would we have better luck with the condos than we did with the houses?
Dorothy once clicked the heels of her red shoes and said, “There’s no place like home”. For almost a year now, Steff and I have been talking about find our own place that together we could call home. Over the past month or so, we’ve taken the next step and have been actively apartment hunting. It’s been an interesting journey to say the least. Jett Vs. is back! Sort of. Last time I ran this series of posts, they were universally ignored by readers for any number of reasons. Because the readers weren’t there and these posts take a lot of work to create, I decided to stop running the series. However, over the past few months of leveling up and working towards world domination, I’ve compiled what I think are some pretty good match videos worth sharing.
In this post, my Cammy faces off against Niysx’s M. Bison.
2012 is poised to be a big year for me. The biggest milestone of 2012 for me is quickly approaching, as Steff and I are planning on moving into our own apartment together in the next few months. I’m excited for what the future will hold for us. Without foreshadowing too much, I’m sure that there will be more posts to come relating to our big plans and how they somehow tie back into video games, starting…now.
One of the first considerations that came up in our moving plans was the TV situation. I’m a fairly active gamer, and she’s a fairly active TV/movie watcher. While I aim to spend as much time with her as I can because I love her and want to continue being a good significant other, there will likely be times when we’ll both want access to a TV, and only having one screen available to us could get messy. My parents got me a 40″ TV for Christmas, which will be great as Steff and I’s future main TV in our living room. As for a second screen, I came across the PlayStation 3D TV at a heavily discounted price during the holiday.
I’m with Steff at the Toronto Raptors game and I just got back from centre court. I just played in the Cash Machine contest, where I had to catch flying money then hit a 3-pointer to triple my bucks.

A few months ago, there was a change in my approach to Street Fighter IV. While I’ve taken the game seriously for awhile now, there was a very different motivation driving my play. At first, it started out as a focus on getting better. But as that improvement happened, I noticed that I was within reach of some lofty milestones. When I realized that being the #1 ranked Rose and Cammy player in Canada was within my reach, I made the conscious decision to put all of my gaming energy towards meeting those goals. For better or worse, mission accomplished.
