As Decapre, I thrive off of my opponent’s unfamiliarity against my character. Some fights against great players can be a breeze if they don’t know what’s coming. But what happens when the shoe is on the other foot and I’m squaring off against another quality Decapre player? We go mano-a-mano here in this tricky mirror match!

Have I told you lately that Advance Wars is awesome?
Just beat Advance Wars again. This time on the Wii U Virtual Console. Holy cow that game is good. Even after all of these years, it still holds up as a brilliant turn-based strategy game. Hopefully its inclusion on the Wii U means that more people will get to continue to enjoy this underrated Nintendo classic!

Amiibo Double Heartbreak
Two rare Amiibos. Two online orders from two separate retailers. Within the span of a week, all I could do was watch in dismay as both would cancel my orders for Captain Falcon and Villager. Neither retailer could secure enough to meet the demand for either, so they just cancelled my orders and refunded me the money.
I’m really bummed out that I got this far into the purchase process and it didn’t work out, but at least I got my money back. In particular, I really had my hopes up that the Villager from B+H Camera would go through. Oh well, maybe someday I’ll eventually have both in my collection. For now though, I’ll keep hunting!
Ultra Street Fighter IV battle: Ken (Daviiid250) vs Decapre (jettFTW)
Any Ken vs. Decapre fight is bound to be a slobberknocker. Both characters are at their best from point-blank range, so it’s all about the person who can maintain control once they’re inside. I slug it out here against the 35th highest ranked Ken in the world on PSN in what proved to be a thrilling fight!

The Walking Dead Season 2 Review
Telltale’s first season of The Walking Dead is a hard act to follow. It was an evolution of the Heavy Rain style of game, a revolution in terms of episodic content, and a game so emotionally charged that it routinely caused me to gasp, yell at my television and shed tears. It was by no means perfect, but it’s a game that shook me to the core in a way that I’ll cherish forever.
With The Walking Dead: Season 2, Telltale Games cleans up a number of design and technical issues that plagued the first game to deliver an ultimately smoother experience from a gameplay standpoint. But the real question is, can this new season deliver the feels like its predecessor?
Ultra Street Fighter IV battle: Vega (ULikaDaJuice) vs Decapre (jettFTW)
Often overlooked, Vega has become quite a force in Ultra Street Fighter IV. A number of buffs during balancing have made him a formidable foe, and some top Vega players such as PIE| Zeus have been flexing the character’s muscle even before the latest round of balancing. I feel like Vega is at his most popular right now, as I run into Vega players all the time online. ULikaDaJuice was the 37th highest ranked Vega on PSN at the time, which isn’t something to take for granted. He gives me a run for my money in this battle of clawed and masked fighters!

I take my Zelda online in hopes of kicking some butt. To the surprise of no one, that didn’t happen much in this video.
Ultra Street Fighter IV battle: Sagat (buff-sonara) vs Decapre (jettFTW)
Sagat is easily one of Decapre’s worst match-ups. His Tiger Shots can act like a wall keeping the two apart, while his normal attacks can quickly poke her away if she gets too close. This is a classic battle of space control between two characters who excel at opposite ranges.
Amiibo Story: Fox
Thinking about Fox McCloud of the Star Fox series takes me back to Toys R Us in 1993. At the time, my local Toys R Us had Star Fox in its Super Nintendo demo machine, and I made a point to play it every chance I got. I never got farther than the first level, but by the end of its run as the default demo game, I could practically ace that first level with my eyes closed. In retrospect, that Star Fox demo ended up meaning a lot more than a few runs of that first level. When I really think about it, that game was one of the major tipping points in me becoming the gamer that I am today.
