Resident Evil 2 is out soon! Having never played the original, I make my first trip into Raccoon City by playing the 1-Shot demo! Find out if the game made me scream like a baby!
Resident Evil blazed the trail for horror games in the 90s. Though its hit some bumpy patches here and there, the franchise has recently regained its footing to the delight of many. The upcoming release of the Resident Evil 2 remake made me realize that I haven’t really talked about my experiences with the franchise at all on this site. Let’s fix that.
I play through some of the Star Fox specific missions in Starlink: Battle for Atlas while keeping up a conversation with the chat about hip-hop music! We discuss our thoughts on modern rap, 90s era rap, recent album reviews, and more!
Having gotten the opportunity to play the demo for Starlink: Battle for Atlas at Fan Expo 2018, I thought I had a good idea of what I was getting myself into. I was expecting to play a game that featured a series of dogfights in orbit and land-based battles on the surfaces of different planets. Those elements are in there, and are still the best part of the game. What I wasn’t expecting was the fact that those are only smaller parts of a much grander framework.
Jackbox Games caught lightning in a bottle with the Party Pack concept. Bundling a set of party games that are played with smartphones has livened up countless get-togethers the world over, including a few parties I’ve attended or hosted. The latest edition of the series marks the return of its flagship game You Don’t Know Jack, as well as four new titles to enjoy. Is this a worthy addition to the series or your next party?
We come across Mr. Oshiro and his hotel in third chapter of Celeste! One of the best levels in the game with phenomenal music that builds up with crazy drum solos!
I apologize for the encoder crapping out towards the end of this clip, which threw my voice out of sync. Still trying to sort through that issue, but I think I’m getting closer to squashing it once and for all!
We meet the “pragmatic” side of Madeline in this dreamy second chapter of Celeste! This level has some of my favourite music in all of video games, as well as the awesome chase sequence!
First revealed at the 2018 Game Awards, Mortal Kombat 11 had its big coming out party at a January 17th event. We got our first real glimpse at its gameplay, expanded variation system, story prologue, and more! Not going to provide a comprehensive rundown here, but I’ll highlight a few notes that I thought were worth noting!
After climbing the mountain a year ago, I return to the base of Mount Celeste to do it all over again! We start our journey in the spike-filled Forsaken City. Join me in this new adventure through Celeste!
