Lots of things get shot at in my time with Respawn Entertainment’s futuristic shooter. I try my best to discuss a bunch of different things related to the game, but I get caught up in the action pretty quickly. Also, whenever you’re making a let’s play video on the Xbox One, never say Xbox One because your system might think you’re talking to it!

Jett Plays Trials Fusion
I crash my motorcycle a lot in this clip. As I repeatedly wipe out, I talk about my love for the series and randomly go off on a tangent about the disconnect between theme and mechanics in tabletop games.
Killer Instinct Matches
The release of Ultra Street Fighter IV may be looming, but Killer Instinct is still a game worth playing. Here’s a compilation of assorted matches where I either win or get brutally beaten.

Jett Plays Watch Dogs
The hotly anticipated game from Ubisoft is here! Admittedly, I’m not that good at it yet, and the video evidence is proof of that.t
Jett Plays Killer Instinct
The first of many Xbox One videos to come is all about Microsoft’s fighting game retro revival. I discuss my thoughts on the game, on the experience of owning an Xbox One, and where the platform is going now that Kinect-free bundles will soon hit the marketplace.

First Impressions of the Xbox One
I may own a PlayStation 4, but does it have Titanfall? Nope. Does it have Killer Instinct? Nope. Are Titanfall and Killer Instinct the two games that I really wanted to play more than anything in the current crop of next generation software? Yup. So while I don’t regret my decision to go with Sony’s console, I’ve longingly looked at the green grass on the other side of the fence, wishing I could play those exclusives instead.
Thanks to Steff being the best girlfriend in the universe, I don’t have dream anymore. The Xbox One is in my house and all is right with the world. Having spent a few days with it now, I thought I’d jot down my initial impressions of the hardware just as I did when I first got a PlayStation 4.
Jett Plays Call of Duty: Ghosts
I had great games before and after recording, but I’m mostly a bullet sponge here. While I’m repeatedly getting gunned down, I talk about the upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, my thoughts on the series as a whole, and my not-so strategic approach to combat.

Pick-Up Post: Happy Birthday to Me
In adulthood, reaching a birthday isn’t as exciting as it used to be. One more year removed from youth, getting old can be depressing or scary. Thankfully, I’m in a great place in life, so that helps. Also, all of the sweet birthday gifts I got surely make a positive impact as well. For the purposes of this post, I’ll write about the video game goodies I got.
Strider Impressions

Strider to me is the cool ninja guy in the Marvel vs. Capcom games. Sure, I know he has his roots in manga as well as in his own 2D side-scrolling action games, but I’ve never actually played them before. I didn’t come across a Strider game in my lifetime until I picked up an NES copy of the original game a few months ago. With the reboot of Strider on modern consoles, this is really my first crack at Capcom’s brand of 2D side-scrolling ninja action.
