Acceptance and Empathy in Gaming Culture
Towards the end of the Pikmin 3 massacre (R.I.P.), a conversation between Rachel of Double Jump fame and I triggered a rant about acceptance and empathy in games. With a bit more of both, I think the greater discourse around games could be a much more positive experience for all. Don’t have a magic wand to make that change in the world overnight, but I’ll try my best to be respectful of other people’s opinions, having healthy discussions around differing views without resorting to personal attacks, and prevent myself from acting as a gatekeeper to others.

Mega Man 11 is live! I take on my first two robot masters: Block Man and Bounce Man! Block Man’s stage gave me a bit of trouble, but Bounce Man’s stage almost caused me to rage quit the stream!

Randy came over to the house to test a modified streaming setup. We didn’t get the multi-feeds going this time, but we did get multiple mics going at once while manually switching feeds between games. I think I have a potential solution for that problem, but it will have to wait. For now, watch the stream as a Twitch viewer joins our squad and carries our team to victory!
