Here are a couple of games on my Christmas wish list this year. What are you hoping to find underneath your Christmas tree this time around?

Over the past decade, I’ve played hundreds of games. Some of them were really bad. Some of them were huge disappointments. Most of them were at least good or great. But there are few games that really made their mark on my mind and heart. In this penultimate installment of the 10-year anniversary series of posts, I put the spotlight on a few games that truly had an impact on me during my time running this site!

Black Friday may have come and gone, but the deals are still available on the Nintendo eShop until December 4th at 11:59pm PST. With over 800 Nintendo Switch games on sale, I couldn’t resist picking up a few games for myself. Here’s what I got!
Before we take on Gordie’s Rock Gym, I’m overcome with emotion as a landmark that I visited in England earlier this year makes a surprise appearance in Pokemon Sword and Shield! I take a moment to show some pictures from the Roman Baths, which is what the in-game landmark is based on. We also talk about Black Friday deals, Google Stadia, and a quick show-and-tell featuring Nintendo games made for non-Nintendo consoles!

Where can I get deep fried turkey? And a surprise appearance from my favourite Pokemon when we close out the show with a few Pokemon Sword and Shield raids!

Are you tired of the Jackbox Party Pack series yet?
Ever since the franchise ushered in the modern era of party games, we’ve received a new entry on a yearly basis. I don’t play these games enough to tire of them, but I would expect that fatigue must have set in for some. Maybe Jackbox Party Pack 6 is the version where the series jumps the shark?

Crikey! In Pokemon Sword and Shield, is Milo – the leader of the Grass gym – an Australian? Whether he is or isn’t, I gave him my best Aussie accent, which is horrible. My apologies. Afterwards, I struggle through the Wild Area, fail to figure out how to raid with friends, and stop Team Yell from executing their really stupid plan!
