Months before its scheduled release, Capcom has given us access to a story mode demo for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Single player content is not what I come to the genre for, but its importance can’t be understated in a world where NetherRealm has raised the bar with the story modes in Mortal Kombat and Injustice. Furthermore, the lack of single player content at launch was a key factor in Street Fighter V failing to win gamers over, causing the game to sell short of Capcom’s expectations. With that in mind, let’s take a look at what we have in Infinite.

Hands-On With Super Mario Odyssey
I’m Playing Super Mario Odyssey Tonight!
Today’s the day!
I successfully signed up to play Super Mario Odyssey over the weekend and I’m going to play it in just a few hours! Will take pictures and video where I can. At the very least, I’ll post some impressions of the game as soon as I can!
Batman: The Telltale Series Review

After the runaway success of Telltale’s The Walking Dead, the company continued their string of adventure games with Borderlands, Minecraft and Game of Thrones. This time, they head over to Gotham to tell a new story about the Caped Crusader. For years, we’ve played action games starring Batman. How does he fare in this story-driven format?
First Impressions of the ARMS Roster

Over the past two weekends, I’ve been participating in as many ARMS Global Testpunch events as I could. At first, it was to see if ARMS was the real deal. Since then, it’s been a matter of wanting to play as much of this game as possible because it’s really fun.
I’ve had a chance to play with all eight of the characters that were available in the beta. Since Kid Cobra and Bark & Byte weren’t available, write-ups on them will have to come later. For now though, here are my thoughts on the characters we got to play with so far.

Mass Effect: Andromeda Review

(NOTE: I didn’t finish the game. I stopped after Kadara. You’ll see why in a minute)
In Mass Effect: Andromeda, you’re certainly not in Kansas anymore. As part of a group of pioneers that left the Milky Way in search of new worlds, you end up in the Andromeda galaxy, where creating a settlement has turned out to be more difficult than originally planned. Do you have what it takes to help the species from the Milky Way establish themselves in this new world?
A Look Back at NBA Street

With the relatively recent release of NBA Playgrounds, the name NBA Street has been thrown around a lot as a point of comparison. At first, I was hopeful that Saber Interactive would be reviving a style of arcade basketball that is long overdue for a return. Instead, I was disappointed to see that the comparisons were way off base. NBA Playgrounds is much closer in nature to NBA Jam than EA’s brilliant baller. Using NBA Jam as a template is fine, though it makes me long for NBA Street‘s triumphant return.
What Happened to Advance Wars?

Years before I knew what Fire Emblem was, I was a die-hard Advance Wars fan. Upon its original release on the Gameboy Advance in 2001, it opened my eyes to the wonderful world of turn-based strategy. Beyond being my first foray, it’s still one of my favourites.
The series would get three more sequels before Nintendo quietly stopped supporting the series in 2008. Meanwhile, its sibling game Fire Emblem has taken off to become a marquee Nintendo franchise. What happened to Advance Wars? And what can be done to bring it back?
Ultra Street Fighter II Review

Street Fighter II is back! Again! For the last time! Yeah, probably not the last time, but whatever.
After a countless number of iterations over the last few decades (!), Capcom rolls out the latest version of its signature fighting game franchise with Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers on the Nintendo Switch. Is this a worthwhile addition to the franchise and to your collection?
Rumored Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Roster Looks Horrible
A reliable source of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite leaks has posted what they’ve heard is the final launch roster for the game. Really hope this isn’t true, but this person’s leaks have been proven to be valid in the past. Check out the list below.
