Ringing in the new era with Rogue Company! Yes, it’s actually a PlayStation 5 launch title with graphical improvements over the PlayStation 4 version. I put it through its paces while scoring dubs with Switch to Decaf and PlayerTwoStart!

Wasn’t expecting to get a new neighbour, but I’m glad to have them! We also discuss the latest Twitch DMCA news, being sad that my PlayStation 5 probably won’t arrive on launch day, and my early impressions of Fuser!

As I frantically mashed on the F5 key while staring at my tracking page, the doorbell rang. Steff opened the door to a delivery person wielding a giant box for me. My PlayStation 5 got here on launch day!
As of writing, it’s 2:09 PM. I could be playing it right now. Instead, I will share the unboxing experience with you! Let’s crack this thing open!
I try to protect my video and streaming output from copyright violations. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, multiple copyright violations – such as the unauthorized use of licensed music – can get your account permanently banned. As much as I love Ariana Grande, I know that major record labels that house top artists like her are scanning the internet non-stop and issuing DMCA strikes to everyone who dares to broadcast their music. Because of this, I use DMCA-safe music such as StreamBeats to help set the mood for my streams without putting my accounts at risk.
However, you can be subject to copyright claims, audio muting, and DMCA strikes for more than just the music you play outside of the game. In-game music can get you in trouble too. Was most recently reminded of this thanks to Rogue Company.
In the mid 90s, I was put off on the platform by clunky installation processes and steep hardware requirements I couldn’t meet. Can’t run Doom on my 386? That was enough for me to abandon the largest gaming platform entirely.
Admittedly, I haven’t missed it much at all. As a diehard Nintendo fan, their first party titles have given me plenty to play. Any spare time gets filled by Sony or Microsoft. Still have my PlayStation 5 pre-order ready to rock, ensuring that I’ll stick with console gaming for at least one more generation.
Even the so, the PC gaming drought is officially over. How did I end up back here?
Inspired by the famous stained-glass windows of Sagrada Familia, the Sagrada dice game challenges players to create masterpiece stained-glass windows worthy of this basilica. With this being an adaptation of the hit tabletop game, does it do enough to inspire newcomers and experienced players to grab it on the Nintendo Switch?
We’re all insanely exhausted, but it was all worth it!
Together, we raised $2,660 and counting! Thank you to everyone who has supported the campaign to-date, whether you made a donation, came to the house to play on the show, participated in any of the fundraising events leading up to the marathon, spread the word to others, or enjoyed any of these fundraisers as a viewer. All of our efforts will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network of Hospitals. Will work on a much bigger post with more detailed shoutouts when I have some time to recover.
