One of Nintendo’s biggest releases on the Switch is coming soon! Animal Crossing: New Horizons is set for release on March 20th and many are can’t contain their excitement. Though I’ll admit that my hype for the franchise was at its peak during the GameCube days, the recent Direct showed me a few things that have piqued my interest.
Upping the difficulty a notch made quite the difference! While I’m able to beat Dead Cells on normal, I struggled mightily to make a dent with the difficulty set at 1 Boss Stem Cell. Adventure Rules, PlayerTwoStart, and MrBlueSky0508 join me for an extended Super Smash Bros. Ultimate session! The first few matches were a bit laggy, but it got way better once we switched to 1v1. Besides the highly competitive matches filled with perfect shields, we share our origin stories with Nintendo’s fighter, share our hopes for future Smash Bros characters, and Jett makes it rain G-Fuel!

You know what really grinds my gears? Besides losing in Tetris, we share some of our pet peeves when it comes to watching live streams! We also talk a bunch about the major Pokemon Direct announcements, including the revelation that 200 previously-cut Pokemon will make their return as part of the DLC. As for Tetris, we bookend the show with a pair of wins! The last one in particular was a real fight!

My journey through Luigi’s Mansion 3 recently wrapped up. Before we close things out with a full review, there’s one aspect of the game that I wanted to touch on that’s been a rare misstep in my overall experience: backtracking.
In the world of tabletop gaming, Pandemic is a modern classic. Throwing two-to-four players into a world where four deadly viruses are on the verge of destroying humanity, you must work as a team to contain the spread while developing cures before it’s too late. Yes, the game is incredibly stressful, but there’s a magic that comes with working as a team and leveraging each character’s unique abilities in order to overcome this challenge.
Just like the viruses you’re trying to eradicate, the hit board game has spread to the Nintendo Switch? Is this version a plague on the console? Or a cure for your digital tabletop fever?
Finally got around to one of 2018’s best games and I’m HOOKED. After a number of runs that have come up short, I achieved my first complete run while streaming the game! Enjoy this Dead Cells complete first run!
