Blue Yeti Nano Review

Does the old adage, “Good things come in small packages” hold true for the Blue Yeti Nano? This mini reboot of the wildly-popular original attempts to retain the overall sound quality of the original in a smaller package while removing a few features specifically designed for recording singing vocals or musical instruments. Blue’s hope is that the Nano will be your go-to mic for voice recording, podcasting, or streaming. Having bought one for myself, I put it through its paces.

Did You Miss These Hidden Gems on the Nintendo eShop?

With so many amazing games on the Nintendo eShop, it’s easy for titles to get buried. Especially indies! I take a moment to showcase four amazing Nintendo Switch games on the eShop that you might have missed!

While this technically isn’t my first foray into YouTube content, I’m approaching the challenge with a lot more knowledge and somewhat better equipment. Hoping to establish a steady pipeline of non-streaming video content in 2020! Enjoy!

Games I’m Looking Forward To in 2020

With a new generation of consoles on the horizon, 2020 is bound to be a big year for gaming. While we know very little about the titles coming out for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox, we do know of many big games set to act as the last hurrah for the current generation of consoles. Outside of Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo is likely to continue its Switch-fueled hot streak.

Though the year has just begun and we still don’t know much about what the world of gaming has in store, it’s never too early to geek out over the projects we’re aware of. Here’s a look at the games I’m geeking out for this year!

Enjoying Content Creation in Ways I Didn’t Expect (Charming and Open Response)

Charming and Open is a blogging collaboration organized by Ian at Adventure Rules. Ask him a question and he’ll reply to it in a blog post. In exchange, he’ll ask you a question to answer on your blog. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, head over to Adventure Rules and shoot Ian a question! He wrote an amazing response to my question about his content creator bucket list, which you should check out here:

http://adventurerules.blog/2019/12/27/the-adventure-rules-bucket-list-charming-and-open/

His question for me is:

“What is something about your hobby as a content creator now that you really enjoy that either wasn’t possible or wasn’t something you thought you’d be interested in when you started out? Put another way, what is a new enjoyment that you have discovered about your hobby since you started blogging?”

Thank you for the question(s), Ian! When I read it back, I saw two unique questions that have their own sets of answers. I will rephrase and answer both. Let’s get it!

This stream was not part of the original plan. However, with a bunch of new equipment in need of testing, I decided to hop on in the middle of the night and play some Fantasy Strike! I mess around with Argagarg and DeGrey, while also playing a few online matches with Grave and Rook. Hoping you enjoy the FPS boost and we’ll see if I can bump the bitrate back up for a sharper image!
