Does the old adage, “Good things come in small packages” hold true for the Blue Yeti Nano? This mini reboot of the wildly-popular original attempts to retain the overall sound quality of the original in a smaller package while removing a few features specifically designed for recording singing vocals or musical instruments. Blue’s hope is that the Nano will be your go-to mic for voice recording, podcasting, or streaming. Having bought one for myself, I put it through its paces.
With so many amazing games on the Nintendo eShop, it’s easy for titles to get buried. Especially indies! I take a moment to showcase four amazing Nintendo Switch games on the eShop that you might have missed!

With a new generation of consoles on the horizon, 2020 is bound to be a big year for gaming. While we know very little about the titles coming out for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox, we do know of many big games set to act as the last hurrah for the current generation of consoles. Outside of Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo is likely to continue its Switch-fueled hot streak.
Though the year has just begun and we still don’t know much about what the world of gaming has in store, it’s never too early to geek out over the projects we’re aware of. Here’s a look at the games I’m geeking out for this year!
After getting sidetracked by Rose’s shenanigans in the power plant, it’s time for the final battle! I take on Leon in a battle for the ages! As we close out Pokemon Sword and Shield, we discuss how our holidays went, how my wife and brother jumped into a frozen lake to celebrate the new year, and I share some of my resolutions for 2020!

Konami’s classic run-and-gun has some stiff competition from Blazing Chrome! This indie alternative features the same type of break-neck thrills with a few new twists of its own. While we attempt to overthrow our machine overlords, we discuss our favourite movies of 2019, debate whether Detective Pikachu is the first good video game movie, and I find out there’s a new way to make a heart with your fingers!

This stream was not part of the original plan. However, with a bunch of new equipment in need of testing, I decided to hop on in the middle of the night and play some Fantasy Strike! I mess around with Argagarg and DeGrey, while also playing a few online matches with Grave and Rook. Hoping you enjoy the FPS boost and we’ll see if I can bump the bitrate back up for a sharper image!
With 2020 officially upon us, now is a great time to start fresh! We have a bunch of new items making their debut in the game room, including three new Pokemon plushies, art from Paris, the debut issue of a popular X-Men hero, and more!
