Coming into the genre essentially blind, I came into Arena of Valor with an open mind. Not sure if I’ll continue with this MOBA journey, but I’m glad to have at least tried one! Shout-outs to Twitch user Moligun for hanging out with me for the duration of the stream, as he gave me tips, talked about being a new dad, and we bounced around some ideas for incorporating gaming into his local bar!

The Closing of Telltale Games
Pioneers of the modern adventure game genre and makers of one of my all-time favourite titles is no more. Hours before we got official word from the studio, news spread like wildfire of the company’s demise. Before they can even put the finishing touches on the final season of The Walking Dead, the company let go of hundreds of employees and is no longer in a position to finish any of their existing work. My heart hurts at the thought of all of those negatively affected by this news, as well as the thought that the story of Clementine will never be completed. [UPDATE: “Potential Partners” might finish the season after all]

I figured that someday, when I finally got the equipment to do it properly, I would make video game related content for YouTube. Years have passed, the world of streaming is born, and now I have more to think about.
Sombra in Action! Jett Plays Overwatch
D.Va is forever my Overwatch bae, but I’m continuing to expand my horizons to see what works for me from a gameplay perspective! This time, I put an extended period of time into Sombra! I like her rapid-fire sub-machine gun, as well as the way she can undermine her opponents’ tactics with her hacking ability! My Mercy also makes a cameo appearance in what I thought was an inspired performance!
